Perth, Australia

His Majesty's Theatre is an Edwardian Baroque Theatre constructed in 2002 to 2003 and located in Perth's central business district.  When it opened it was the largest theatre in Australia, seating 2,500, and is thought to be the first building in Perth constructed with reinforced concrete.  Since then it has been renovated several times.

The theatre is central to Western Australia's cultural fabric and the only working Edwardian Theatre in Australia.  It has been included on the State Register of Heritage Places and named a "State Heritage Icon".
