What is an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)?

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardised document that quantifies the environmental impact of a product using a life cycle assessment (LCA). The LCA is carried out in line with internationally recognised standards including EN 15804 and ISO 14025, ensuring consistency, credibility and comparability. An EPD provides clear, verified data covering the full lifecycle of a product, including:
