Advanced Named Fire Safety Systems Manufacturer of the Year image

Advanced has been recognised in two categories at the FSM (Fire and Security Matters) Awards. From a shortlist of worthy nominees, Advanced was named Fire Safety Systems Manufacturer of the Year and also received recognition in the Fire Innovation of the Year category for its BS 8629-compliant evacuation alert system EvacGo.

The winners were announced at a gala dinner at the CBS Arena in Coventry, with over 400 members of the fire and security industries in attendance. Amanda Hope, UK Business Development Manager, and Ken Bullock, Emergency Evacuation Systems Business Manager, were at the event to receive the award from the evening’s host, popular impressionist and comedian Alistair McGowan.

The Fire and Security Matters Awards, organised in partnership with the Fire Industry Association, are independently judged and recognise excellence and innovation in the fire and security sectors.

Speaking about the award win, Amanda Hope, UK Business Development Manager, said: “These achievements are thanks to the loyalty of our customers and the dedication of everyone at Advanced to developing fire safety solutions that are trusted worldwide and helping to create a safer future. As the FSM awards recognise excellence and innovation, we are particularly proud to have been chosen from amongst our industry peers.”
