Webinar: Evacuation planning – solutions to meeting the new BS 8629 standard

This webinar, hosted by Fire Safety Matters Magazine, covers evacuation planning and ensuring you are compliant with the new BS 8629 standard.

BS8629 is a new code of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of evacuation alert systems. This new British Standard provides guidance on how to install a communication system that advises residents of flats to evacuate. This standard exists to help ensure that systems are fit for purpose and to encourage uniformity.

Amanda Hope, UK Business Development Manager at Advanced and Steve Norman, Deputy Assistant Commissioner, London Fire Brigade will provide a key update on new technology that allows you to meet the new legal requirements.
